Game Changer!
What a game changer! This upgrade solves two common issues depending on your setup. If you’re using an older OEM slide release that sits closer to the frame (instead of the extended version), you may struggle to release the slide with your thumb—that was exactly my problem. Alternatively, if you’ve experienced accidentally locking the slide while shooting, this design fixes that too. Because it sits higher and farther from the frame, it’s much easier to operate and prevents unintended contact. On top of that, the customer service was excellent and shipping was fast. M&pP 2.0 extended mag release.
I love the fact that it moves the slide release out of the way of my grip I should no longer hold the slide release down on last round. It did require a little fitting tho so I could lock it back with my thumb. I also wish it had a little texture on the nub so my thumb didn’t slip off so easy and the only other thing that is more of a me problem is I wish it didn’t come up so high since there is a gap between the release and the slide since the m&p gets narrower towards the front my thump gets slightly caught between the release and the slide when I use my firing hand to send the slide home. Besides that I really like it and will definitely buy another one for my other M&p.
